It occurs to all people! Particularly with extra full-bodied blends, typically smoking a cigar could make you are feeling queasy.

I can't blow the smoke through my nose because it tingles
Learned my lesson the other day.. Romeo y Julieta, Nicaragua (orange band) great smoke! But it was before dinner and that kinda left me sick through the evening..
Make sure you are not dehydrated before your cigar. If you don't want to do the sugar packet trick, I found Mexican Coke (soda) also does the trick
I started smoking cigars a month ago, my first 2 didnโt make me sick at all, both rubostos, then my 3rd was a Churchill and halfway in I started feeling light headed so I set it down for about 10 minutes, felt fine and re-lit. I cut it off right before the end of its last third just because I got really nauseous. Lasted about 2 hours where I was nauseous a dizzy. Now Iโve smoked around 20 cigars and it hasnโt happened again so I have no idea what that was. Iโm sure thereโs a lot of constituents though! What you eat, how much caffeine, type of cigar, if youโve slept well, how hot it is where youโre smoking, how fast, how long the cigar stays in your mouth for since it can absorb into your tongue and lips.
1:24 what you do is you smoke another one to send a message to your body.
A cigar is great after a good meal and a well ventilated room helps. I only smoke a mild stick like an oliva or drew estate and the sugar water is an amazing tip thank you I get sugar sachets all the time I m not a heavy smoker and canโt stand cigarettes for many reasons I Mabey smoke about five a year on my birthday or a special occasion otherwise I vape and thatโs good for cutting down etc but you canโt beat a beautiful cigar so when I do smoke one i get a nice one and enjoy it every time
I am taking notes Coca Cola, Orange Juice & Sugar.
Was talking to an OG cigar smoker and he told me about the sugar pack and water trick. He said keep some mixed and sip on it slow while you smoke
Great tip about the sugar. Thank-you sir!
I havenโt had a cigar since last summer and today I learned a valuable lesson that itโs not a sprint when smoking. I feel nauseous, sweaty, and dizzy. I definitely learned my lesson.
I think the best advice I got was to treat the cigar like a marathon rather than a sprint. If your just starting just take one puff a day until you get use to it.
Great Tip. I smoked a cigar in a lounge. Got talking smoked too fast than went for another smaller one. It came on me fast nausea, dizzy I actually lost my balance!!!
Lesson learned hydrate and smoke em slow. Its an enjoyable hobby not to be rushed.
I'm starting to get into cigars and got quite nauseated today after smoking one and that sugar pack into water is an invaluable tip, really saved my ass.
This videos comes up on my recommendations after feeling this way 2 days ago. I'm new to cigar smoking about 2months to be exact. Man I thought to myself wtf. Didn't know what was happening but I knew when I feel even just a bit nauseous I go to grab something sweet. Thanx for the explanation.
Thank you so much for this. ๐๐ฝ๐๐ฝ
I've always thought that most cigars go well with a classic Coca Cola. As it turns out the sugar in the soda was helping me in a way I never knew.
Just smoked two cigars during the eclipse. Felt queasy but remembered this video so I watched it again. Had some sweet tea in my fridge and it hit the spot. Thanks.
After smoking my first cigar I just got really dizzy like I was close to fainting ๐ซค
I pulled a whitey the other day hahaha. Tried to push through it….. threw up….. I got to enjoy my curry again though hahah
Alcohol swabs or smelling from the rubbing alcohol bottle helps nausea!
Take it slooow. Like keeping a stick of incense lit. Relax. And have some sugar if you are new to it or trying a strong cigar. Ginger ale or something.
So I guess am super wrong as I enjoy inhaling the cigar some actually makes me a bit sick maduro but overall with a good scotch I don't feel sick usually. and for the sugar makes sense as after or at the end of the smoke i crave something sweet
Iโm 33 and had my first Cigar yesterday 2/22/24 with a friend.I had a Ashton the one you recommended for beginners, I got so sick I threw up twice and was sweating profusely to the point where I had to take off my shirt. My friend was in a bit of a hurry so he finished quick and left I still had about a quarter of my stick left and was feeling fine and I wanted to hurry up and finish it so I started taking bigger/faster hits and thatโs where I messed up, I learned my lesson.
You are a Cool Cat!
