Why after 38 years skint I want to stop now?
Made my.life a miserable life. Go away alcohol
Great message and so true!
I like Craig but I do find his comparisons a bit "propergrandery" at times. Meth is worse than alcohol. Looking at outcome data in terms of death disingenuous. Look and flesh and blood human beings as individuals it doesn't stack up. I was a big drinker for 20 years. Do you think I would be in worse shape if I was a meth user for 20 years? The fact you can "get away" with it means it isn't as bad. Would you sooner employ some one with a drinking habit over some one with a Herion or Meth habit? I know what I would do…… Great video otherwise
You’re a genius bro
Why do you make it out that alcohol has a personality and life??? Weird! That’s why it has power over you and those that are like you. This is over hyped BS!
Alcohol is by far one of the most insidious drugs on planet earth. The fact that problems don’t appear right away is what makes it so incredibly dangerous! For some people, by the time the problems manifest, it’s too late to fix anything!
It appears to me that maybe you're not drinking a handle every day anymore. But I think you know, you've had 2 or 3 shots before this video.
Such a wicked normalized drug looney juice Alcohol.
Powerful! Thanks, Craig!
I used to drink half and sometimes the whole bottle of whiskey every day until it resulted in hypertension. Out of shock, I stopped for a month before going back. I have tried to stop, even though I reduced the amount to 1/4 of a bottle, but, every morning when I wake up, I feel horrible. It is a battle equal to satanic power that I have fought for 10yrs. I believe that if I had a family, it would have kept me busy every evening. I don't drink before 7:00PM and I would never report to work late or drunk. A lady who needs help!
Haven't had a drink since June 30, last year.
1 year.
365 days, 365 nights without a drink.
365 × 2 drinks per night at least.
Equal
730 glass of wine that did not pass thru my liver, or soaked in my brain!!!
Sometimes it was 3 drinks a night.
730 glasses of wine, beer did not pass thru my liver or brain in 1 year!!!!
One of your best videos. Very wise words & advice.
Love your videos matey. Doesn't hurt that you are pretty easy on the eyes too !
As Allen Carr said 'Slow agonising Suicide'
You hit the nail on the head, pits you in stasis, mediocre for ever 👍
AA WORKS AND ITS ABSOLUTELY FREE! 2 YEARS CLEAN AND SOBER
Another great video from Mr. Beck. I fully agree with 99% of his arguments, like his view on AA for example. He has an exceptional talent to explain in a very clear and authentic manner how the alcohol industry mercilessly ruins so many lives. My experience is that when you quit drinking after 40, life unfortunately doesn’t change that much; if you have become lonely, you will probably stay lonely as a sober person. If your career hasn’t turned out the way you’ve expected, chances are it will remain pretty much the same. If you have lost friends and family due to alcoholism, your social life won’t change that much when you quit drinking in your 40’s or later. There will certainly be an important health benefit when you start a sober life after 40, but don’t expect a radical change in the way you look for example, even when going to the gym. So if you manage to stay sober, you certainly made the right decision, but don’t expect miracles to happen. So stop drinking coaches nowadays shouldn’t create the perception online of an adventurous and wealthy life full of passionate love and truthful friendships when becoming a sober person; in real life it won’t happen when you’ve drunk away your 20’s and 30’s… Thank you for sharing your wisdom Mr. Beck and good courage to all those who fight the evil clown.
9 days clean. 1 day at a time for me.
So true. Everything that I expect to be always leads me to the first drink. And I know I need more alcohol to perform. It's totally baffling. Anyway thank you as always to keep me on the knowledge about that evil clown does exist! It's a constant battle everyday. Thank you Craig
Hes right I'm an alcoholic and opiate addict but alcohol is evil
At some point in history someone said "I'm going to drink that" made me laugh😂
EVERY area of my life has improved since quitting Alcohol almost 5 Years ago , My Daughter has now COMPLETELY transformed her life since quitting Alcohol almost 1 Year ago , there are ZERO benefits to drinking Alcohol…..
I’m here May 4, 2023
17 days. I slipped tonight but Thsts okay. Tomorrow is a new day
Its the dopamine
One day I took the bad decision to drink, and while drinking I imagined I created a new channel on YouTube:°Start drinking expert lol
Another great video about looking back on ur alchol mediocre life, this resonates with me
Another amazing video Craig! My wife and I are just over 7 month sober and what you've said is SO true. We were drinking for 23 years, slowly being drip fed that pain where life was 'meh' and there was no joy in anything. Even drinking didn't hit like it used to. We both have great careers, went to the gym, had full lives, a great marriage and we hated our lives. There was no joy left. We only ever drank on weekends but it would be from Friday night through to Sunday morning – constantly drunk. Then have to 'go back to reality' on Monday and slog through the week. Now we're sober life is amazing, we can see how fantastic our lives are, we're stronger and faster at the gym, work is a breeze and that 'meh' that mediocrity has completely gone.
Darn, I miss the livestream. LOLZ! Anyway, great to see this, Craig! Currently, 662 days sober. One Day At A Time.
60 days free from alcohol since my brain tumor diagnosis. I had surgery in Boston MA about two weeks ago and plan on keeping this new lifestyle going. I never plan on having another drop of poison again 👍
