I see all of these benefits, but when I lived in San Diego I could've even get in through the waist area in July! How do people do it!? I NEED all of the benefits but I'm afraid I'd lose my mind in the process!
Tell my body what it's doing 😷
Vocal frrrryyyyyyy ugh
Amen ✝️🙏🙏✝️🕊
Ok
I started this and it feels amazing
That guy looks like he needs a bath 👃
I started it. The water was freaking cold enough without the ice lol. 5 to 10 minutes. I won't recommend anything longer.
I just take real cocaine for dopamine
I began deliberate cold exposure back in few month back and I am seeing huge improvements in my overall health. Also my Morning Allergies got vanished. I have uploaded the videos on my channel.
I am not scared to jump into cold water I am more scared of the flu I would get right after doing so…
The Dr. is smart, and gorgeous.
Has anyone read reputable cold plunge research for women?
Doctor is gorgeous
I enjoy cold plunges, but some of the mice studies seem very skewed. No one mentions that the mice are in the cold water for hours before scientists see a major change with brown adipose tissue. 72hrs in a cold plunge shows a significant increase in autophagy in rats. So far that's about all the info I can find for the supposed fat burning benefits.
Its quite funny that Finland not is mentioned ,they have been doing this and sauna for THOUSANDS OF YEARS!
IS THIS SAFE FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE ADRENAL BURNOUT OR ADRENAL FATIGUE?
I lasted 12.4 seconds my first plunge, I couldn’t breathe
It's too hot in Kolkata, India so I'm watching this to get some cold through visualisation
Nice video man! I'm a trucker and I can't shower everyday and I'm a gym freak. I started taking cold showers about 2 years ago and I absolutely love it. I can't do cold plunges either what's the alternative for me that will give me the same results as cold showers/ cold plunges please help
My sinus blew up I feel like cold and dizzy
This is absolute rubbish😂😂😂
Relax, too much stress is bad for you…. But tricking your body into thinking fight or flight is good? This is yet another health trend that will go away in a few years.
Why does my stomach hurt after a cold plunge?
Pseudoscience
Cold showers are easier than cold baths
Have been doing this about a month now. Can honestly say my arthritis and inflammation is better. I feel better
There are no actually studies pointing to this, NO benefits have been proven, sad to see a channel like this pushing such bs
Thank you for sharing ❤
This is not applicable for most ppl but I experience a milk let down during my ice baths. Hearing that the love hormone is released- oxytocin, makes total sense because its the same hormone that helps mothers breastfeed 🎉
O! M! G! 😱🥶
💙🤩
When Huberman mentioned Dr Søberg I didn't expect her to be a 10
what about rise in cortisol levels .. which is not ideal.

Hormesis on one’s own terms is always beneficial! You’ll notice how chronic conditions follow comfort increase in our modern world!
I began deliberate cold exposure back in October and my neuropathy (tingling in my feet) slowly went away. Inflammation is nearly gone in my body and mental clarity with about a four-hour window of energy boost are an added bonus. Meanwhile, my family thinks I'm going through a mid-life crisis or have gone off the deep end. It's something I very much look forward to doing.
so it's basically good drug? sign me up
