As a brazillian, I can say that the visual and cultural accuracy of this game is on point. To the dialogue in Portuguese, to it's delivered. The people getting torched in tires etc… everything is very accurate, props to this game for the loyal portrait of the country.
To be fair to Max, his idiotic actions can be explained by the fact that he probably has a killer hangover, and he was just pistol whipped in the head.
During the whole cemetery section, at places like 54:14 , 54:28 , 59:10 , 1:01:25 and pretty much anywhere else during the whole thing, you can hear the cries of Max's daughter and his wife within the music. To say they had an amateur band (at the time) doing the soundtrack for this game, I think HEALTH did a really good job with it.
While it is indeed very satisfying to do pistol headshots in this game, it does make this playthrough a bit one-note in the gameplay department IMO. Throw some slow-mo combat rolls, vaults and hip fire in there too – make the Euphoria ragdolls do a bit more!
At 1:16:40 you lost a great easter egg at the TV, the news show a sketch of the gringo killing people in São Paulo, and the sketch is from Sam Lake's face with the MP1 smirk and haircut
29:25 There are unique animations cuz they are all physics-driven animation, using Rockstar's brilliant Euphoria engine. The dynamic enemy hit reaction and death animtions make for GREAT player feedback. It is a BIG part of why the game feels so great to play.

What I really loved about this game is that the soundtrack was made by a band called Health. Google them. One of my favorite bands ever. One of my favorite soundtracks ever. This was a very unique experience for that.
I’m a fan of your channel, and I loved Max Payne 3 back in the day, so I’m really looking forward to this playthrough. It’s a great game. This is going to be fun.
I’d suggest in the future, the Persona series or Metaphor. I’d love to see you do those. Just suggesting.

Max makes a lot of bad decisions in the games, bursting in there all gung-ho is just another one in long line of mistakes, makes sense in my eyes

If you listen closely to the soundtrack in the cemetery fight you can hear Max's daughter's crying.

Gotta say, now that I see Max Payne 3 gameplay again, now I think that I severely miss some slow-mo grenade action from the previous games.
Gun-play in MP3 is still supreme, but watching bodies explode and ragdoll all over the place would be even more awesome.
