I love this podcast the most so far. I have anticipatory fear of the next panic attack. Anticipatory panic rules me but I still do everything but fly. I am not housebound but panic rules my life. Has for years! Feeling hopeful! Thank you! Best description ever!
I needed to hear this. Its what im going through right now. Thanks!
Thank you so much, I actually felt a shift in my perspective towards panic attacks during listening to this

Drew I have been following you for about 6 months now had panic and anxiety 3 times over the course of 14 years your personal story was very similar to mine of all the people and research I have done everything came back to fighting it push against it I never heard the words do nothing it’s so simple in contrast but so difficult but I find for the time in my life I’m actually going into panic I suppose the greatest words I ever heard was we need more to learn I have all your books and there greatly appreciated take care
It all boils down to worrying. Catch yourself worrying, drop it, rinse and repeat over and over again
Thanks for explaining this so clearly. I have a question. What do you do if you are driving on a 5 lane highway and you get a massive panic attack?
Hey Drew, is being afraid of a panic attack happening at an inconvenient time the same kind of fear as being afraid of a panic attack? I.e. if you're afraid you could miss your flight or have it happen at a large event
Personally I love these framing type videos because they are good reminders of the method. I've been using the Claire Weekes method for years, I've been recovered and then nosedived again so a refresher on the mindset I need to have is very much appreciated, your videos here on YouTube help alot.
I think this can be used for fear of any anxiety symptoms too. As its this fear of the fear that keeps us in the anxiety loop
Same as claire weekes, she was recovered but still have panic attacks. I think that real recovery is not possible like go back to normal pre disordered state. Can not understand why is brain so stupid?
