Thank you for this video. I had BPPV recently and immediately did the Epley because I’ve had Bppv before. However, I kept getting this feeling like I am going to fall if I tilt my head back or to the right. Occasionally, I get a weird sensation in my head at the same time that only lasts for a split second but is followed but a weird off feeling in my head. I’ve had two concussions and two whiplash injuries in my past. My neck used to curve the opposite way it was supposed to but now it is more straight after years of chiropractic care. I get terrible upper neck pain and jaw headaches and have been having them severely since my episode of bppv started five weeks ago and the bad posture that I was in to avoid the bppv vertigo. The doctor did an MRI of my brain and it looks normal they said. I’ve been to physical therapy and she confirmed I had bppv but it is now gone. But I’m still having the off feeling in my head, neck pain, and falling/ jumpy feeling if I move my head the wrong way. The PT also prescribed a side to side laying down exercise (which seems to really aggravate it) and these in this video. They won’t listen to me that my neck is the problem. Who do you suggest that could help?
Could playing a VR game where i look down repeatedly for quite a while with a heavy headset on my face and back of head cause cervicogenic dizziness issues. Did doing this mess with my neck propriocepters? If so, what's the best way to 'reset' these propriocepters so i don't get dizzy?
I have cervical spinal stenosis and have had extreme dizziness for over 2 years. Doctors and neurologists have not helped at all and I am getting worse and say that the dizziness is not from my neck. It just doesn’t make sense. I have had tilt table tests and passed out. Taking a shower is the worse. And yes I have a shower chair and use it, but it doesn’t make it any better. It seems not supporting my head is a problem. I have passed out just sitting up in a chair not resting my head on something. The last cardiologist told me my heart is fine try to stand against a wall.
I had ACDF 5-6-7 in Feb ‘21. I have been experiencing severe vertigo. Lately I’ve started falling if I move my head while my arms are extended, these are sudden and no warning. What type of Dr should I see for this? I have an NEURO ENT, as well as neurologist and neurosurgeon. I have experienced hearing loss and tinnitus in my right ear. No Dr has been able to provide an explanation or relief. I did experience some improvement from PT but it was short lived
Is there any tablet for avoiding cervical vertigo please suggest I have urgent need
