Yes, it was horrible and I looked for car keys to go get more booze! Glad that is far in the rear view mirror.
Try taking GABA and you didn't explain the root cause of hangxiety
If you can pull it off, intense workout helps the most for me. A workout where you sweat a'lot, which should be no problem when hungover. Jogging, hockey, basketball to name a few.
It eventually goes away! Suffering for few days, but there is light behind the horizon, just hold on:)
Doing so much better, thanks to all of you in the comments! Marcus and Terry are definitely saving lives and have helped me so much.
I still am in some type of cycle where I end up drinking a couple times a month during some get togethers, celebrations and holidays. Still far from the daily heavy drinking and waking up without a hangover is so much better!
Blahhh. I hate anxiety coming back even sober!!!
I take small amount of valum 2.5 mg , ton of water , and like 10-20K STEPS helps a lot. I am getting my binge episdoes down to 1 x per week and next week will go for ZERO. I used to drink every day for years and started up in 2020 again off and on. Alcohol is such a hard demon to beat because when your drinking you feel so good but the next day you feel so bad and anxiety omg it is the worst but the lil valum takes the edge off. I am no way addicted to valum and never want to like I said 2.5 mg max per week!
I am seven years sober but still have vivid memories of hangover anxiety. It’s probably the worst feeling to deal with. Thankfully I don’t have any of that anymore. If you are struggling get help. You will not regret it.
Alcohol was creating my anxiety the next day horrible cycle .
A book called d.a.r.e. Is a great read or audible it. 3 years sober thanks to Marcus and terry!❤❤❤
Yes the mitizle to shizle!terry sounds like snoop dog!
I get scared that I won't be as fun anymore being sober. I feel like I am not enough. This shit has been my comfort blanket for so long that I am scared to let it go. I'm scared of the sleepless nights with no crutch to lean on. I am a weak man. And it scares the hell outta me.
Sound frequency therapy really makes a difference.
As always thank you for what you do!
I am tired by that fact that we label each other too much as alcoholics and counting days everytime.
We need an open minded approach
My anxiety was worse at work where I had to look people in the eyes knowing how childish I was behaving in my private life. I was intimidated by people who were behaving like grownups. Now I'm two years sober and I have ZERO anxiety around my coworkers and can be myself without shame or worry. Thank God!
Thanks for the video guys! I just got out of rehab this morning and I’m looking for videos like this to keep me going…one day at a time. Keep up the good work!
I blacked out the other day, threw a punch, got my ankle broken, and now I need surgery. I'm now out of work, kicked out of where I was living and spending every dollar on a hotel, with only one person helping me with my errands. Things were going pretty well even when I was drinking and I thought I wouldn't hit a bottom. I was wrong.
Does anyone get to the point where they feel indifferent towards alcohol, after quiting? Like a bad relationship from the past!
I prefer Terry. Anxiety and alcohol. Getting past the physical dependence. That’s half the battle when you have anxiety and physical dependence.
I am so grateful, that you both are making videos on YouTube again!!
You guys are the most helpful duo for getting clean of ALL TIME.
I watch you, Fit Recovery, and sober Leon. Thank you two for being the voice of love and empowerment in this wilderness.
