Yes but Jack is working his off on the dance floor (aerobic exercise…which is good for him) while Dan is lounging like a sedentary sloth, increasing the size of that beer belly! Therefore it is JACK that made the better choice, because Jack’s intoxication is motivating him to move his body…and he might even score with one of those ladies he meets at the nightclub (and skip class altogether).
For the confused: a standard drink has 0.6 oz of alcohol. That's a 12 oz beer at 5% abv or a 1.5 oz shot of liquor at 80 proof. Or a 5 oz pour of 12% abv wine.
Why choose? Have a boiler maker!
I’m the total opposite ever since I joined the infantry liquor never gives me hangovers for some reason. Beers do.
2:10 you're comparing 2-3 beers to who knows how many hard alcoholic drinks over a full party night? You do not mix hard alcohols. Drink 2-4 beers go to sleep, get sober and as comparison dring 0.5 l pure vodka and then compare the hangovers, whereas pure vodka would be a beeter alternative as sweet drinks with the same amount of vodka… hesus

The volume of bubbly liquid consumed over the night makes me feel worse than an equal level of drunkenness from liquor. And you'll spend more buying beers in most cases… Calories is highly dependent on what you choose, so you cant really make that argument for either one. some low calorie vodka is like 78 calories per 1.5oz shot, and a beer with that low of calories has little alcohol in it. Even a seltzer is going to run you like 100 calories at 5% for 12oz.
They are both light weights.
I dont agree that whiskey has more calories than beer, its the other way around
I don’t usually think these videos are very good often many inaccuracies but this is great I learned a lot

This is f**** crazy to me as an American who regularly drinks for 24 oz beers at 8% each and sometimes regularly up to 12% each saying that 6% beers have been discontinued in certain places is crazy

Beers are way better than drinking hard liquor when you get older like over the age of 35 you will see the difference
Beer is 4% alcohol. Liquor is 40%. Therefore liquor is 8 times as strong as beer.

12:52 a hangover is withdrawal and dehydration. As someone who used to drink far too much; the only thing that really treats a hangover is hydration and hair of the dog. Vodka and Gatorade the next morning always helped (even if the first one or two were rough ). Then the second day you make sure the ear and drink much more moderately, and hydrate as you go. Vitamin B (12 or 100 complex) helps your body metabolize alcohol as well.
1 bottle of 4% alc beer roughly equals 1 shot (1.5 oz.) of 40% alc (80 proof) liquor. Most beers today are actually around 4.5% to 5% alc, and most craft beers slightly more. In that case 1 standard shot only equals 10 to 11 oz. of beer. If you make a mixed drink with one shot of liquor, and fill it with non-alc mixer to make 12oz., and consume it at the same pace as a 12 oz beer, your level of intoxication will be equal. This video seems to demonize hard liquor over beer as a shot of liquor can be downed quicker than a beer. But it all comes down to responsible drinking. Nothing here mentioned about wine that can vary from 11% to 21% alc. But for a medium alc. wine around 14%, a standard drink is considered about 5 oz. A part of the hangover is caused by congeners, which are traces of other alcohols, and even flavorings that give the beer or liquor it's particular characteristics. In general, the darker the beer or liquor, the more congeners it may contain.
There was a wine commercial during the video
They don't, they are both poision
So I know someone is different beer get more headache after a night of beers but liquor doesn’t
