IDK why John is saying Canada Dry tastes like nothing. Plain Jane ginger ale is by default. I like ginger ale if y'all can't tell. I've tried Blackberry Canada Dry, and it's good. I've also had it for stomach issues because ginger is also good for your stomach. The ginger ale I like the best is Q's ginger ale; it has a crisp flavor.
Ginger lemon tea with honey, some chicken soup, and a chocolate chip cookie are my go to for colds. My mom always said chicken noodle soup and chocolate chip cookies are the cure for ailments.
George's subtle humor just makes me smile, broadly. Plus it was a solid team effort, and another fun show.

Everyone: food
John:
When I was a child, I once got a fishbone stuck in my throat during a family gathering at my grandmother's house. My grandmother's response was to quickly whip up some gogl-mogl, which is a drink that consists of beaten raw eggs and some sweetener, while my mom's was to scour the kitchen for some bread. Then they jockeyed to get to me first with their chosen home remedy. I got gogl-mogl poured down my throat (did nothing, but was delicious), and then swallowed the piece of bread (which successfully dislodged the bone). The rest of the evening was spent by my mom and my grandmother arguing over whose remedy did the trick.
George, so funny!
Apple Cider vinegar and honey (with water) is a great cure all for allergies!!

Also, George, you should elaborate more on this "arrest" thing! I'm starting to see you as dangerous!!
Joanne, you make me smile so much!!
…John, John, John, you are just precious!
I do love y'all's channel!
John would remember many home remedies as he was growing up since I (his mom) would use home remedies before medications and/or doctors; both were included if needed but I would always try home remedies first. Chicken soup is so beneficial for colds and such because of its anti-inflammatory properties; these helps the whole body fight the cold and it clears up the sinuses and it tastes so good! Our go-to for sore throats was one cup of hot water, 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper along with honey and lemon to taste. Take a tablespoon of this every hour for around the first day of the sore throat. With John and his brothers this almost always took care of the sore throat by the second day. The cayenne pepper brings more blood flow to the throat for healing, the lemon supplies vitamin C and the honey has antioxidants and coats the throat; raw honey should be used. When you are sick sugar should be avoided as much as possible because it wreaks havoc on the immune system making it harder for your body to fight off the illness.
Best hangover cure…..Prepackaged Ramen soup!
Put the red pepper powder to a glass of soju and drink it all at once. It's a traditional way among 아저씨
Something I used to do when i got a cold was drink camomile tea with a bit of honey in it… since honey does actually have anti baterial properties (that and all the sugar in it is actually why it can last forever eccentially)
My mom would make us cover our ears with soft headband or lightly stuff a little wad of tissue in our ears to prevent head congestion and runny nose during the day and or at night. This really works! I still do this.

For stomachache, (GoJoann!) Mom gave us Canada Dry ginger ale. Grandma gave us 7UP. I don't know if it really settled our stomachs or just made us happy to drink a carbonated, sugar drink.
Granddad was the only one who drank alcohol; he swore that by eating greasy sausage and eggs before (not after) drinking protects your stomach and liver.??
My personal naturopath remedy for my seasonal and food allergies symptoms (runny nose, itchy eys, swelling ect) is fish oil and stinging nettle root. Both of these come in capsule form. I take them daily with food. Works great and I don't have to be hopped-up on antihistamine drugs (makes me super drowsy) all the time.
Nice
Wow good Job John.
I love it this vedio John.
