When I first started learning driving at 14 I learned to drive preety good but than I had an accident with a man and fault was obviously mine, after that accident I quit driving, and I'm 18 not starting to relearn.
So if I'm a novice I really wanna drive but the fight flight kicks in just when I'm ready. I hate it but I think it roots from the accidents and accidents we've been in and my mom being so tough to me
Passed my driving in April and don't feel confident to drive alone I get a pure panic when I just sit in my car n my mind goes blank .why ????
I have friends who say bad comments. But he says you are not experienced but he does more mistakes then me. He never say any mistake about me
I think using one foot for gas and brakes is causing accidents as people are accidentally pressing the wrong one, especially when panicking. Race car drivers and some people are more comfortable using two feet. Where did this lunatic taboo come from? Funnily I watch most drivers and I see them using both feet 👣 they know it’s easier but many are afraid because they are warned not to. You won’t press gas and break at the same time. It’s easier to make mistakes using one feet and it’s also much slower.

Good afternoon. I will need help to overcome driving fear.

THIS. I am certain what you say is true for a lot of people but it is kind of dangerous to be telling people they're never gonna pass out. I think overcoming this should be done gradually while assessing their own skills, preferably with the help of a licensed therapist. Levels of anxiety just differ a lot and having an actual full blown panic attack I would say would mean you'd have to pull over, breathe through it, calm down, then get back on the road and finish what you started. if you can safely do so.

I can drive with my wife but I can’t drive alone. I served in the Army and got out in 2005. But my PA didn’t start till 2016. Been 8 years now and it’s getting worse.
I passed out on the highway because of a panic attack. Now I'm scared to death of the highway.
I need to get back on the highway it's been 7 years now.
Impossible
I have to disagree. I’ve actually experienced near-syncope on more than one occasion due to extreme fear and panic.
Do you help clients privately?
Hey Shaan, whats the best way to reach out to you or someone in your team for any questions we have about the things you talk about?
Would I ever love to drive again but I don't know if I can as it has been 23 years since I stopped driving due to a few panic attacks while driving at age 46. If anyone reading this is going through not be able to drive due to PAs please don't let it go – get some good help to fix the problem. Losing your independence is awful.
This just happened to me yesterday. Anxiety take started brewing. It’s was awful to deal with. When I finally got home I was shake up for a while.
