Pedialyte in the (US) was created for and is still mainly marketed for sick children thus the name, it's only been in the last few years that they've started targeting adults in their ads.

The best hangover cure I've ever found was just taking a couple ibuprofen before going to bed when you're drunk,, it's honesly a miracle cure. I haven't had one hangover since I learned this trick. 😂
A Bloody Mary and a big fat joint works for me.
I haven't had a hangover since 1989, but my favourite start to the next lunchtime session was a jar of cockles, a small bag of chocolate buttons, an orange juice and a triple dark rum straight, eat the cockles and then the chocolate buttons on the way to the pub, drink the orange juice at the bar and then neck the rum, always sorted me out, until I learnt not to sober up.

The bars that I lived near as a child served Bloody Caesars (Bloody Mary made with Clamato juice) for hangover cures. 🤮

Dos Equis
Clamato
Lime juice
Plus ice and a tajin rim if desired

Our Pedialyte in Canada was developed for babies and infants who are ill and not eating to keep their electrolytes up. I've never heard of someone using it as a hangover cure.
