Loved this format and this game. Completely replaced the Crew for us. Also my first game ever my wife surprised me with for my birthday, and had pre-learned the rules and taught it to me, a nice twist from me leading her into every game and I love that it’s playable at 1-4 players for lots of variety. Easy 10/10 for what it is.
For the game the art/components are fantastic, game is very approachable for the causal player and tons of characters/different chapters/rules.
where are you guys based?
I like all sorts of trick takers, but two recent ones from Allplay Games that are currently at the top of my list are Ghosts of Christmas and Sail.
This format was good, but I prefer the old one. I feel like answering the questions gave it a lot of … punch? Probably not proper English. Maybe it's possible to combine them in some way?
Love the format guys!
I prefer your previous review format.
The Crew has given us a new mechanism to play with, a new toy so to speak, and I hope there will be many more such trick-taking games being published because I do love the systems these games have brought to the hobby. Dominion brought deck-building and spawned a board game revolution, The Crew brought the co-op task system and spawned a trick-taking revolution. Its taking a bit longer to spawn more adaptations of the task system, but I'm all for it…cause I'm designing one myself

My favorite and only trick taking game is For Northwood! I'm glad you liked it because I bought it yesterday before I noticed this video. Thanks BGH love you guys!
If you ask me, your previous review format was/is the best one on (Boardgame) YouTube because your segments ask the questions that are most valuable to someone interested in a game. Please keep it alive!
PS: If I could just ask for one thing, bring back best/favorite player count. You had it in the past and also in this video and for some games it makes or breaks a game.
These are not tokens .. these are Tolkiens…. yea yeah… i know that joke was bad get of my back

Great format. Loved the vlog feel
Where did you guys buyg this copy? I can't find it (in english) anywhere
I like the format and your honest opinions. After your review I’m not sure if I really need this one
Nice documentary
Wow, iv been watching you for a while and i generally liked your videos. But this is just insane how much the production, editing, color grading and format changed and improved. Really really impressed. I know this is probably very time consuming, but quality over quantity! Keep it up!
I really really likes this format. I am so glad I encountered your channel, the vibe and the style is super super fun.
My favourite trick taking game is for northwood! I also tried the crew: the quest for planet nine and I liked it.
The format was alot of fun for me!
this format is great! hope yall had fun making it because it definitely came through.
Nice review, bad game.
Really loved the format, this is my favorite video from you guys
Great format, engaging and fun!
Thanks for your thoughts on this one. Haven’t convinced the family to give it a try yet but hopefully soon.
Tichu is our favorite trick-taking game of all time. So amazing for four players!
Great format!! And i like the fact that u guys also talked about how the solo mode feels as well as modes with other player counts. It gives us a better perspective. Great stuff!
Enjoyed the video format. I have both versions of the crew, I think I'll let me friends buy this one.
That box is gorgeous
THANK YOUU
Loved format! More like this!
Really nice format, main thing I live about you guys is you do things different from other channels, so keep leaning in and trying new stuff

Great video. Loved the production quality here. As for the game – love the theme and the mechanisms, but that in itself doesn't make it worth buying if you already have The Crew (especially if it's Mission Deep Sea).
previous format was better imo
Very cool format!
Is it a better version of the crew?
– Let's find out if Board Game Hangover is still MUST WATCH in 2025…
three, two, one…
→ of course it is
Sorry this was a bust. It is a part of our hobby to get disapointed sometimes. Good on you to help us avoid as manu as possible.
This is my family’s favorite game right now. We have played 30+ times and at 2, 3, and 4 players. Definitely worth the price!!
I like the idea of seeing you play it but maybe showing an example of what you liked or didn’t as you talk over it would be better than you guys in the car.
great work guys. Love the content. Please carry on trying things out. I like all of it
