In Vancouver, almost everybody you see wear loud and quiet luxury brands. People are very used to it that we don't really think twice about it…
This episode was great. Need more.
I think the key thing to take away is to dress in a way that makes you happy. If you’re constantly chasing trends and the approval of others, you’ll be chasing that feeling for the rest of your life.
No, luxury brands are not basis to be so called "fashionable" you can be fashionable by just wearing Costco Kirkland jammies. I always buy my clothes where I buy my groceries.. It's more convenient in just one trip, you have everything.
It depends on how confident you are, if you’re confident you would dress well, but not necessarily depend on luxury brands to help you gain confidence.
Materialism is the global U.S. virus that spreads like an STD.
Such a sad culture lol
Satan is the prince of materialism….
Luxury goods are overrated.. hope Koreans in general can change their outlook & perspective on luxury goods. It’s just not sustainable or mentally healthy to keep up with the jones mentality
This podcast style with guests is my favorite format you should do more of this
It’s not just in luxury items, but in hobbies and sport. I’ve noticed people will buy the high end “Gucci” gear when they first start out. The logo.
The impression is that there is no core. A hollow drum society.
visibly branded luxury apparel or accessories is to show off while their credit card debt is probably at it's max. half joking but honestly, whopping 30% of lux brand consumers are middle to low income earners. that is a fact.
It’s honestly starting to look cheap ironically because showing off wealth is kinda cringe to me
Very insightful video.
Luxury brands create artificial scarcity to fool consumers to think they are getting something special.
I’m late to the party, but I think there’s a difference between T-shirts with a designer logo on it (which I think is so cheap and tacky) I wear dolce tailored dresses when I go out, but they last. My favourite dress is 14 years old and still looks brand new and fits well. So I buy luxury tailoring because of the quality.
Korea is the largest consumer of luxury goods in the world
I think if you look good you feel good. Then I rest my case. South Koreans are the best!
Logos and brand names are for those that screaming for attention. Aka attention seeker.
