Withdrawal is what kills!! Lack of Gaba neurotransmitters is what causes the withdrawal.
Really it’s if you want to quit, you will quit. I’ve been to detox 4 times. It’s hard, and deathly going through withdrawal. I had to go to the hospital several times for withdrawal. Withdrawal is what kills.

I'm 47 years old and really set my life back majorly because of alcohol abuse fortunately I physically cannot tolerate alcohol anymore the hangovers are horrible in the last forever and every time I drink I regret it I even regret it while drinking so thats why i dont thankfully
More often no alcohol per year. Sometimes on occasion, once in a while a glass of Sangria, but certainly no more than max 3-5 glasses per year
I can live with that… 
Actually cafeïne is the most used drug in the western world.
8 months sober and I was buried in it. One of my best friends died in January from alcohol abuse. 42 years old. RIP Mark.

I've never had a single drink of alcohol in my entire life and I'm 69.
I took note at a very early age of all the misery, unhappiness, violence and damage alcohol caused. Not drinking is single best choice and decision I ever made in my life.

The government puts more beer stores and more liquor stores all over the city and of course they had to build a bigger court house for all the case's from intoxicated ppl messing up..30 days for me never going back..im at the age were i gotta quit while im ahead and truly enjoy life

This is how I quit drugs when I was younger.. Think about this..
Think about what you are supporting. You are supporting the poison that killed many innocent people. You’re supporting the children who are affected by it. The abuse and neglect. You are supporting a system of death and injury.
Why would you support that?
Stop drinking, stop using drugs. Stop supporting the poison that causes trauma in peoples lives.
For those struggling with alcohol showing pictures of alcohol is NOT motivation to stop! Stop putting these pictures on the screen. It's like those addicted to porn, don't show porn on screen to motivate someone to stop watching porn.
yeah I can quit but the life is fucking dull how about that?
I wish I could have that alcoholic gene extracted from my brain. I’ve had 38 total months of sobriety from 20 to 41. It absolutely sucks. I’m two weeks sober and next month I start taking meds that “kill” cravings. We’ll see.
Sober today. I’ll worry about tomorrow, tomorrow.
