Royalton Hicacos, been visiting since 2015 twice a year. Back in 1 week (18/3/25) Sadly it is loosing its 5 * rating. Needs $$$ spending. Food is, as in most hotels in short supply, last trip ran out of rum! Why go back? The country, the people who have nothing but give you thier all. Ignore my negatives; jump on a planr to paradise, say Hi to me, Bernardo I'll buy you a drink.
well, none of these hotels are real 5 star! I consider around 3 star at max; food is very bad and there is a lack of everything…
One of the best beaches in the world. If you like the beach and rum. Go to Cuba.
starfish is a pice of shit resort old bad service and rooms are as good as shacks
Melia Varadero should be top 3. It isn't even listed! It's incredible!

Royalton definitely is not five star,food is disgusting and very smelly around hotel….
If you want a great hother w the best shows I reccomend Occidental Arenas blancas the shows were incredible and the beach was really great but yeah bring some money since the food in the hotel was not rlly tasty (you can also reserve 2 restaurants I reccomend sea fish one and do not choose spanish restaurant)

The best resort in Varadero is Melina las Americas, and I’ve been in all of them
We were at grand memories it was very nice resort and very good people
Went to Blau Varadero in 2015 and loved it!
