"It's the things we love the most that destroy us," which is spoken by President Snow. The whole Hunger Games are designed to control the districts/Panem by the threat and taking away of their children, the thing most people love the most. And then keep it propagandized on the news and media throughout the year and every year, so people never forget. I would still watch and read a story about the original uprising and an origin story for Dr. Gaul, what made her become the crazy mad scientist she is. Or Mags, Joanna, Finnick, Beetee's stories as well. Just finished Haymitch's story and waiting for the movie next year and to see who is cast in it. Younger versions of our original characters.
There is only one bad thing about the movie that makes me wonder whether I should watch it: Rachel Zegler. The kind of actress you don't want to see in any movie – especially because of her personality!

I was at the theater to watch another movie and saw the preview for this. I knew from the first note of music something was coming. That music is so iconic to the franchise, this did not disappoint.

1) Hunger Games from Peeta’s perspective
2) A book/s for each of the victors that came back in catching fire
3) Specifically, a book about Finnick’s first hunger games experience
4) A book long epilogue to the main hunger games series with katniss and peeta and their kids.

I insist that it is one of the worst movies I have ever seen.
Having the level that the others had, the characters that were there, what was Katniss Everdeen who without being funny moved and won everyone over with her bravery and unfriendly attitude.
God, what was I watching? A musical? How horrible to hear Lucy sing every 3 seconds, the time that Katniss sang was something very emotional and special.
The games were horrible, I understand that they had less production but my God, the tributes were pathetic, even Mags would have killed them all.
And Lucy was not left with any sequel while Katniss, Peeta and everyone were forever marked.
I literally saw a comedy, romantic musical, nothing to do with what they did in the original trilogy.
Horrible.

Absolutely loved the Hunger Games series, still haven’t watched this one.. I don’t know but there’s just something that I hate about these types of movies. Just like with Harry Potter, after that the fantastic beasts came which were totally shite. After The lord of the rings the hobbit came and after the hobbit that ridiculous show rings of power. Ok the hobbit wasn’t bad but why do they always need to do this? Guess I’m a fan of the originals and I don’t need a movie 10 years later that shows how the story was before ugh
