So Iām 26 and Iāve passed out before and had a slight seizure once, and now im trying to get this new job and all of a sudden Iām getting these āpanic attacksā and they feel exactly like the moments when i passed out and seized out. So Iām terrified that it might be a seizure coming so my body just fights it everytime and Iām scared

The thing that helps me the most is to talk to myself out loud to bring it on. I found the more I tried to talk myself into panic the more I calmed down. This technique could be applied to breaking bad habits too I guess.

This helps me for a year now. But being stressed throughout the day for weeks or months, being triggered sometimes, makes my stress levels raise. Then I notice, that it is way harder to question the storys. But noticing this also helps in a way, to accept, that I may have panic attacks every day atm. I just have to calm down in General, when I am not in panic and the cortisol levels will fall and so I will be able to question my thinking patterns again.! Keep going guys. It is a fu**ing exhausting and sometimes hopeless feeling journey…

When you have a panic attack to where you feel like you cannot breathe…as scary as this sounds, hold your breath.. Because if you know that your general health is good, then this attack is in your mind. So when you hold your breath for as long as you can, you WILL breathe again, and this will start to reset your amygdala, which will calm you down, your heart will stop palpitating, and it will be over very quickly. It may take a few times, but it works. I suffered severe panic attacks from trauma years ago, since then even when I've had health scares. I don't go into panic mode. It really works.

this is actually true, the more you run from it the more it chases you like a dog. stop, accept it and feel it. breath normally, and say bring it on.

I hate my anxiety and panic attacks. I hate them so bad. I had a terrible one today. š¢ I started crying so hard. Itās almost like Iām broken and I canāt fix it. I found this video today and hope itās helpful to me from now on.
Breathing does help, but itās just a bandaid. So no, you canāt say anybody who tells you to take a deep breath has never had a panic attack. I had them for 20 years and finally learned that trying to calm down only made things worse. Taking a deep breath and letting the air out very slowly is a standard remedy going way back for hyperventilation and extrasystoles. So itās a temporary relief in some instances, but itās no solution. Itās not just a matter of relaxing. Itās getting rid of the idea that āanxietyā (I hate that word), poses a threat.

Yes, I agree 100%. I am also doing the same when I feel Anxiety or Panic attacksš. I always tell my mind that I am ready for it and bring it on. it started to reduce. š But sometimes I cannot control my mind, at that time I quickly drink 2-3 glasses of hot or cold water depending on the weather, It really helped me a lot.
