Humans in nature barely drank water… Plain water can actually be pretty dehydrating. Hydration is more about drinking raw milk, juicy food (eggs not overcooked, meat not overcooked), they drank blood from animals, fresh squeezed orange juice, coconut water, etc.
I really think people are overthinking this brain fog thing. One of these days, people are going to wake up and realize that sitting behind a computer all day playing video games and spending hours on their phones on social media is turning their brain to mush. People don't have goals, don't get enough sleep and don't exercise anymore…..they've gone soft. Fix this problem and the brain fog will lift.
Thank YOU this just gave me hope man! I am in a word PISSED with Doctors today they should all be ashamed and go back to school. Im embarrassed I truly am for them. Dr K Doctors like you are REAL Doctors. Doctors should know this stuff to actually heal people. A lot of Doctors today are no better than a Drug Dealer. This is a health crisis and needs to be treated as such. Dr K I will say it once more you are a REAL Doctor you should be the standard for Health Professionals. The system we have is garbage.

My 1 year old brain fog just ended completely in just 2 days😱😍 You all can also clear it up and i want you all to clear it very easily.
My sufferings:-
1)I was in 10th grade and i started preparing for boards and studied 10-12 hours a day. I left physical activities.
2)now i can't even read a page clearly, my mind just crashes.
3)i felt that i am in a deep hole of my mind and i speaks in it continuously whole day.
4)i watched all the videos how to curr brain fog but no one worked.
5)i gone to doctors after forcing my parents but doctors also gave sleeping pills.
SOLUTION
6)then one day someone told me to go to temple as i was so depressed,
7)i gone to temple and said the supreme god to just take care of me, and suddenly i got the idea which cleared my brain fog. Also i felt gods energy helping me.
8)THE IDEA WAS THAT CHOOSING AN OLD HOBBY AND IN MY CASE, IT WAS H@CKING WIFI PASSWORD FROM MOBILE, IT CAN BE ANYTHING BY WHICH YOU FEEL BETTER AND WANT TO DO TOO MUCH, I TRIED TO GET WIFI PASSWORDS NEAR ME FOR WHOLE DAY AND JUST NEXT DAY I FELT MYSELF CONNECTED TO REAL WORLD AND I ALSO REMEMBERED EMOTIONS WITH MY CLOSE ONES WHICH I FORGOT DUE TO BRAIN FOG.
9) second day i also became able to read books normally without brain crashes.
10)By god you just try this i am sure god will cure your brain fog as when all ways ends, gods help protect just, just seek help from god you believe in.
11)Also my depression just gone away as i daily went to temple and came to know that i just became sad for things of no matter. I came to know that just enjoy by gods grace in this life and after this go to god who loves you a lot and we never come again to earth after going to god's land.

You are so on point with issues. Issues that are never discussed! It's so hard to find actual good advice. Or have someone describe what what you're going through to a T!! I'm taking your advice and giving it a shot. More water, flavinoids with luteolin, mediterrean diet, quality sleep, less caffeine, yoga and cardiovascular exercises. Thank you!!!!!!

I'm 20 yrs old and had quite sedentary lifestyle for last few years sonce covid. I have internal inflammation, skin inflammation issues, severe dehydration problem, weak immunity, very reactive/sensitive kind of skin and body, my BP remains quite low. I'm experiencing brain fog which seems to be worsen in past 1-2 yrs. I'm not able to find any solution to relieve my condition.
For menopausal women ir happens big time, and despite doctors getting knowing they are women, and theue age, they dont connect the dots. Same for orher reasobs, so youll habe yo do your research..
I'd say it can be connected to lifestyle (like dr.K mebtioned), not living the way we should, respecting curcadian rhytms, working out, earing right, getting freash air and sunlight.
All that lifestyle then adfects hormobes negatively and eveeyrhing in the body seems (and is) off.

I find myself agreeing with a lot, but he says some things that have been shown to be a lot more subtle. It is true that caffeine intake would dehydrate you.. but most people tend to dissolve it in water… It is absolutely not true that drinking coffee dehydrates. Drinking the same amount of water is better, but.. caffeine =stress is a way more logical tie in.. And "scientifically proven meditation techniques" has a few problems: 1.. science doesn't prove.. it moves from best theory to best theory.. 2. Meditation is not thinking, science is only thinking. 3. Even though meditation has been extensively researched.. the results of this research manages to miss anybody working in medicin. This has several reasons.. 4. We are in the midst of a reproductability crisis.. so if "scientifically proven" ever meant anything.. recent studies show, especially in psychology that more than 50+ of ALL studies since 2012 could not be reproduced! All in all.. whut? First time this happens with Dr K. But I guess being popular got more important than being helpful..😢
I had brain damage after a stroke and was sent to mental health, because I was 'psychotic'.. that's fun. Took me a month to get out of and have them admit that, no.. I have no mental issues at all. At least nothing in the DSM

I am recovering from brain fog. Not certain of what caused it, but it might be related to time spent on the computer. I was scrolling through pages of software code when I finally felt overwhelmed and experienced a headache. I decided to put the work aside for a few weeks. For this period, I reduced the time I spend on the computer. One thing that helped was focusing on green grass when I was walking the dog. I found it to be very soothing. My brain fog has reduced significantly. It’s taken a couple of months, but my memory is returning to normal

I'll share what helped the most in recovering from brain fog. Mix the following spices together and make a tea: turmeric, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, black pepper, crushed stinging nettle (powder). Drink this multiple times a day for healing.
I had it for a long time as well. For me, I think it happened because of depression, the fact that my shoulder and back would hurt, eventually also affecting my head, and dehydration issues. Once i got over the depression, I started stretching daily, and drinking a ton of water before sleeping and after waking up. It seems to have fixed the problem after having it for 4 years

I got terrible brain fog a few years ago. To the point I had trouble remembering a conversation I just had.
I went to the doctor but as you said, it was too vague of a problem, so basically I just got advice to take it easy.
It was until I tried the keto diet (for different reasons) that I saw a big difference. Turns out it was heavy carbs & gluten everyday that build up the brain fog.
I remembering being so desperate to get rid of it, that I almost cried when the doctor said there was nothing he could do. So if you are like I was, look at your nutrition and experiment with different diets.
